I’m Glen Maguire, founder of Matrix AI Consulting. I bring 25+ years of digital transformation experience across New Zealand, Australia and Europe, an MBA from the University of Otago and Prosci® change management certification.

What does an AI consultant do?
An AI consultant helps your organisation decide where AI will create value, prepare your people for the change and keep AI use safe. At Matrix AI we focus on the part most AI programmes get wrong: people. That means AI strategy to set the direction, change management, training and coaching to build adoption, keynotes to bring leaders on board, and governance to manage the risk.
Do you work across New Zealand and Australia?
Yes. We have offices in Auckland, Wellington, Sydney and Brisbane, and work in person across both countries, including regional centres, as well as online. Clients span agriculture, construction, infrastructure, education, retail, professional services, finance and government. Quotes are in NZD or AUD.
How is Matrix AI different from a vendor or a large consulting firm?
We’re independent. We don’t sell software or licences, so our advice on Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or any other tool is based on what fits your organisation. Our focus is adoption: Prosci-certified change management and practical training that get people using AI. You work directly with Glen Maguire, who brings 25+ years in digital transformation, and every engagement is sized to what you actually need.
